IRFU – Technology Leaders Forum

RugbySmarts CTO William Johnstone was delighted to present to the technology leaders of the major Rugby Union nations at the recent technology leaders forum held at the Microsoft campus in Dublin hosted by Enterprise Ireland and the IRFU.

The 3-day event saw technology leaders from Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Wales Scotland and England gather to explore collaboration opportunities on technology projects which can have a positive impact on the sport of rugby union. The workshop included a look at the next evolution in fan engagement using Web3 and Metaverse and Irish sports technology start-ups including RugbySmarts were given the opportunity to present their innovations to key decision makers in the respective governing bodies.
